The Front Office Department is the center of any hotel or hospitality establishment. As the first and last touchpoint for guest interaction, it plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction and the smooth running of a hospitality business.

Polykarpou HRD offers a 2-level program in Front Office, aimed at both aspiring candidates looking to enter the Hospitality Industry, as well as established professionals seeking to expand their skills and gain internationally recognized accreditations.

The Front Office Academy


This in-line level training program is aimed at aspiring professionals who wish to acquire a solid foundation of skills in the hospitality industry and gain the edge they need to work as a qualified Front Office professional.

As the first level of professional development, the Front Office Academy helps individuals develop the skills required to perform Front Office tasks and provide an enjoyable experience for guests.

The program offers a combination of theoretical courses and practical exercises relating to the Front Office Department of a hotel and completion of the course will grant you a professional certification.

The training material is based on the International Standards of Front Office defined by AH&LEI, and the Cyprus Professional Standards as determined by HRDA.

Successful candidates who complete the program and pass exams will be awarded a separate certification for each course, from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AH&LEI) and recognition for their accomplishment, as well as a Front Office Professional Diploma from the Front Office Academy of CHEI.

Front Office Management Specialization


After completing Level 1, continue with 2 more courses and obtain the internationally-recognized Diploma “Specialization in Front Office Management”

This 5-course specialization features a curriculum crafted by AH&LEI and offers Hospitality professionals the opportunity to gain a globally recognized diploma that will help boost their professional career in the area of Front Office Management.

The Front Office Management Specialization is aimed at professionals who wish to further their careers with a recognized degree. It offers the specific technical, supervisory and managerial skills required for management positions in the hospitality Front Office departments.

Candidates who successfully complete all five courses through Polykarpou HRD will be awarded a Front Office Management Specialization by AH&LEI, and will also receive an AH&LEI award for each module completed.
